Title: FSDT installer and updater won't start
Post by: FinnairAY on March 05, 2024, 07:23:08 am: Have had both intaller and updater working perfectly for years.

Running as administrator, i went to do my update as normal today

The initial steps worked until it got to the blue bar (installing) and then it simply shuts down and disappears. I have changed nothing. Tried checking anti-virus and FSaddon folder is still as an exception and the app is still allowed.

Tried installing the offline updater and it didnt change anything (Tried restarts etc)

So right now i cant update or even open the installer UI

Any ideas chaps?

Edit : Inside the sim GSX Pro is working, the problem is neither the updater or installer will run and further than the first block of loading bar on the instal process, the it just disappears.I have double checked Avast anti virus and the folder is allowed as is the app

%APPDATA%\Virtuali\Airplanes\PaxAirplanes.JSON

Remove it and the error should be fixed.
