Evening,
Ive recently had a sim crash with the Event Log pointing towards Couatl. I have attached the log file.

Found a way to attach the file to the forum.

It's been posted many times - your log indicates Couatl stopped because MSFS crashed. It's likely if you look in event viewer that MSFS crashed before Couatl which points to MSFS being the problem. There are a lot more crashes lately with MSFS it seems

@zebralet ("your log indicates Couatl stopped because MSFS crashed"):
It looks like you are a coder, because you can read and interpret the log.
Or are you just parroting what Umberto keeps saying here? As you know (you answered in the relevant thread), I have evidence that Couatl can very well crash the sim.

I am a software engineer by day, but that's not relevant. I'm just saying in this case Couatl didn't crash, it just says it stopped because of MSFS.
I have no doubt it can crash the sim, but in this case it probably wasn't the cause. MSFS post sim update 13 just seems to be more crash prone for me at least.

@zebralet:
Ok, that sound reasonable.
But let me asked you the following:
From the log Couatl produces you can see that it stopped because the sim crashed. So far so good and understandable. But can you see from the log WHY the sim crashed? I assume that is not the case.
But that means that Couatl could well have caused the sim to crash.
Which in the end means that you can't tell from the log that Couatl is not responsible for the sim crashing. Am I correct?
