hello, with the imminent release of the ATR, will there be an option to have the engine on with propeller brake, without gsx saying, impossible the engine is started?
Thanks
-
I had the same question.. Bumping up this thread..
-
We cannot do hotel mode push back because gsx won't allow.. Pls make exception for ATR..
-
I hope they add some sort of compatibility for Hotel mode. Maybe GSX could differentiate between Engine in hotel and Engine normal. Either way it's a first party plane, so expecting GSX to work with it isn't that far fetched imo.
-
I too would like to see this supported by GSX as it's a key ATR feature
-
The ATR can push itself back. Doesn't need external pushback service.

A default profile for the ATR will come in this weekend update.
However, we can't fully support the ATR without some help from the developer, because some things like the door automation events or the fuel system can't be figured out easily, because the airplane is encrypted, but I already contacted Hans and he's surely willing to help, since he has a long history of supporting GSX, so as soon I get the relevant info, a proper profile will be out. Also, we are planning some key improvements in GSX that are specifically related to airplanes like the ATR, they will come later, but it will help with other future airplanes that might come, like the Q400, etc.

Great thanks a lot !

For now, the best thing to do is to go into hotel mode only after you hit the "prepare for pushback" button. That way it won't cancel the ground services.
