Hello,
I recently purchased and installed GSX for MSFS2020. However, it's not running. My MSFS2020 installation is not on the C drive, meaning my Community folder is not on the C drive. It seems like the default Community folder setting for GSX points to C:. Is there a way to change that? Also, not sure if the updates are happening because the updater seems to crash after like Step 2 or 3. Need help.
Kindly,
Jrod

GSX doesn't do any assumption about the location of the Community folder.
It checks the InstalledPackagesPath line of your UserOpt.CFG in the MSFS settings folder, which is the only official method to have whole "Content" ( Community and Official ), moved in a non-default location so, if you use this, it will surely work with GSX.
What's important, the MSFS Content MUST be on a drive formatted in NTFS, because the GSX installer will need to create Symbolic links in the Community folder and for these to work, the drive must be formatted in NTFS.

Thank you!

Hi,
the installer says, it wants to install to a wrong folder. It is the old one. MSFS was installed on my new SSD, NTFS formated. Even in the Cfg file the right folder is written, the intaller tries to install to the old one.
I have already reinstalled the installer, no help so far.
What can I do?

FSDT even says, I can relink GSX Pro. But klicking the button does nothing.

Ok... I figured out, if I change the seting to "Steam Version", it picks the right Folder. But I haven't bought it via Steam...
