The new remote De-icing feature for GSX-Pro looks really good. Is this update also planed for the P3D version and if yes, is there any estimate when it will be avaible?

Precisely why I logged in to the forums today - to ask this same question for P3D haha.

(Though I’m fearful the answer is going to be it won’t be implemented outside of MSFS)

The Remote Deicing feature already works with P3D and even FSX. However, even if you create a custom deicing area in the airport profile, it won't be possible to have the Deicing VGDS display shown in the video, because we just haven't modeled it in P3D.

It might come in the 2nd step of the update: this is just a first iteration, without any visual editing feature so, basically,  right now you just taxi to anywhere, and call Deice.
