Title: Cannot move to new drive while installing

I purchase a new hard drive. I moved my msfs location to this new drive. I have moved all my addons to this new drive also. I uninstalled, deleted all files. When I reinstall it prompts for location but instead of installing in new location it does not respect the new location choice and keeps installing into old location.
