Title: How do you know when there is an update?

I can’t seem to find anything that makes reference to when a update is needed, or what version is installed or what the latest version is.

If I click on the update option in the installer it seems to download and update, however if I click it again it does the same thing again, I assume this is what happens whether an update is needed or not?

Am I missing something here?

You'll have to remember the last time you updated, of course, but that is not too difficult.

Clicking the "Release Notes" button in the FSDT Installer will show all updates with their release dates.
