How do we actually know that updates are available? I don’t get an update notification in MSFS like I did in P3D. Thanks

You just run the updater. If there's one available, it will update the necessary files. Otherwise it just checks through the files.

You can know about updates in two different ways:

- By opening the FSDT installer and clicking the "Release Notes" button.

- By checking the Sticky thread on this forum:
