Title: 737 Pushback issue
Post by: Navigator40 on October 25, 2022, 07:24:12 pm
Hi just curious to know why GSX pushes back the PMDG 737 when I hit stop pushback the 737 jumps forward and I got to put on the brakes. It rolls ahead and runs over the pushback tractor thanks.

Please clarify if you used Stop or the Abort function.

Abort the friction? I apologize but I’m confused 😃. Can you please explain.

The pushback stop menu has two options: STOP or ABORT, which one you used to end the pushback ?

I guess it must be something related to the PMDG side on the way their pushback works. Because when I hit shift P for pushback it does the same thing so I don’t know. Learn to live with it I guess.

Well, you shouldn't normally have to Stop the pushback before its regular end, that's usually more like an emergency feature rather than the norm.

If you use the automatic Left/Right pushback, it will stop automatically on a point on the taxiway line where the airplane and the tow truck are aligned, and if you use QuickEdit, it will stop exactly where you told it to.
