Title: Using GSX to modify AFCAD
Post by: crx0203 on October 20, 2022, 09:13:45 am
Hi,

First of all, thnaks for GSX! It's a great addon and will change the flight simulation immersion. I was already a great fan for many years with P3D, but I will enjoy it probably more in MFSF!

Now, I would like to understand if it is possbible to modify an airport AFCAD with GSX in order to improve the AI Traffic experience, and mainly with Gate sizes (some AI widebodies aircraft are not appearing, and I guess it is relatde to Gate Radius), and Airline Codes allocation to gate.

I have tried using GSX (redefining the gate size and allocating airline coded), but without any effect. Am I doing somethning wrongly? or it is not simply managed by GSX?

Sorry in advance if this topic has been treated somewhere else in this forum (and in this case I missed it)

Thanks for your help

Any edits you make in GSX only affect your own aircraft. It cannot not modify the airport AFCAD, for this you need to use the Scenery Editor in the MSFS SDK.
