After starting a flight, I click on GSX menu and it won’t load, loading starts and stops immediately. I have tried restarting the Coutal and same problem. I have unlinked and relinked, I’ve updated from fsdt installer, not sure what to do, any help appreciated.

Be sure you have the latest update ( we released it yesterday ) and try enabling the new SU10 Navdata feature in the Config panel.

Thank you, I did what you suggested and it now just sits there with the menu stuck on loading. I still can’t access the menu. What now?

Please post your startup log as explained in the Sticky thread "How to report a Problem"

maybe try this one
Your last log shows GSX loaded perfectly fine, with no errors, and recognized the airport perfectly. It doesn't show if you ever tried to open the menu.

try this one, sorry

Could you please check the exact file size in bytes of this file ?
\Addon Manager\MSFS\fsdreamteam-gsx-pro\html_ui\InGamePanels\FSDT_GSX_Panel\FSDT_GSX_Panel.js
I suspect you might not have the latest version, but I need to confirm it.

the FSDT_GSX_Panel.js file size is 11KB

Sorry, but I asked for the precise, exact, size in BYTES.

Size: 10.1 KB (10,443 bytes)
Size on Disk : 12.0 KB (12,288 bytes)

You have the correct version then, which is puzzling, since your log shows a condition that should never happen with it. Does it happen when doing something specific, or at a specific place ?

I start a flight and can’t access the GSX menu.
Things I have tried: different aircraft, different gates and parking positions, different airports. All the same result.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Unlinked and linked again.
It worked fine and the very next day, I can’t access the menu.
I don’t know what has happened?

Which kind of joysticks you have connected ? Do you use any add-on or hardware that might possibly send keys automatically, like the Streamdeck ?

Saitek flight yoke and pedals.

I did post elsewhere of my problem but this topic I think is more relevant to what I am facing. The GSX icon is there, menu opens and tries to load and does nothing and shuts down. Attached is my file.

So what should I do, it currently is not usable? It only starting happening after the last update, can I roll back the update? I’ve noticed others have a similar error.

It's difficult to say which update you are referring to, since we already had 3 updates after your first post, and we don't know what you had before.
However, we have been discussing internally about your log, which shows the menu being opened and closed with a choice code of -3, which GSX uses as an emergency code to exit from a "stuck" menu.
Basically, that code is used to signal a new menu was open when a previous one was still active so, in order not to cause a stuck menu, the code detects this situations and "kills" the duplicate menu, reporting an exit code of -3 to signal the problem.
I tried reproducing the problem, and I CAN force a -3 to appear, but only if I push the GSX assigned hotkey VERY quickly continuously, sometimes I see a -3 in the log, but I really need to be very fast to be able to see it.
However, as soon as I slow down to a reasonable pace, the menu goes back to working normally, meaning it opens and closes regularly with a -1 choice, which means you opened the menu and closed it without choosing anything.
So, it really seems that, for some reason, the hotkey you assigned to GSX is being continuously sent by something else, most likely some kind of joystick, but possibly a software, maybe even not related to flight simulation. Have you tried to assign a different hotkey to GSX ?

Mine got fixed when I uninstalled to scratch. Deleted the folders in the appdata. Reinstalled. I think the main problem was I created a link via addon linker and maybe created the directory in two areas. I then deleted the directory in my addon directory and all is good.
