Title: Mute passenger boarding ambiance
Post by: aseinsha on October 02, 2022, 08:34:20 pm
Hi,

Is there anyway to mute the annoying passenger boarding sound? ( I know the audio slider but that mutes everything, including the baggage handlers etc...., I just want to mute the passenger boarding ambiance)
There is only one track and they only speak English, so its immersion breaking for an add-on that is suppose to add immersion.
I'm really sick and tired of hearing "I'm right next to her, thank you" and "How are you?! I'm doing good" Good morning! (when its not even morning)" conversations...

I wonder if we can find the audio file and replace it with a dumb silent track...

Its a 29 dollar addon. They have a lot of other things to smooth out first.

Was just about to ask the same thing, if there's anything you can do to stop hearing "Good morning" at 10 PM...

I see how it was long ago but did you ever come up with a good solution/work around? I guess editing the audio files and mute them is one way.

Personally, I like the immersion of passengers boarding/deboarding but I wish there was a bit more variation and possibly even some intelligence based on time of day and what you'll hear.

I liked the FBW a320 ambience myself.

You could also just use the external camera during boarding..
