Title: I thought you could over ride a plane in a parking spot.

If you request a parking spot and a plane is parked there. I thought you could over ride it if you wanted to park there instead.  Couple of times a plane was parked in my spot.

Yes, you will be asked to use a parking anyway, but only if it was already occupied when you selected it. If an AI took it while you were arriving, it won't ask again, you might have to use the option to change the assigned parking and chose the same again.
