Title: No Taxi Guidance
Post by: chumley on September 18, 2022, 02:20:55 pm: I have set up a parking spot with a Safedock T1 - 42 Ground Pole at gate C6/J EDDB.

As I approach the gate it eventually displays the gate Number and Airport details on the screen but gives no distance guidance nor does it tell me to stop at the Stop Line.

I have also imported a Profile for LSZH - the ASOBO version and whilst the gate Sign shows departure details it never activates on arrival at the gate.

Something is amiss and I cannot for the life of me identify what it is.

Do you mean Default EDDB ?

The addon has been excluded from generic update and I have created the .ini file myself.

If you setup the Stop position in GSX correctly, there's no reason why the VGDS activates but won't show distance indications to that position.

At LSZH it only activates to show the Gate Number if I restart Couatl.

I must have done something wrong at EDDB but the LSZH one is from flightsim.to.

I have used GSX before for P3D so I'm not exactly new to the concept.

I think I'll uninstall and have another crack at reinstalling.

Post by: chumley on September 21, 2022, 01:28:58 am: Deleted the addon EDDB and the .INI file for GSX. Loaded MSFS and created a new .INI file for stand C6 at the default EDDB.

Set up a plan to fly from EDDB to EDDB and executed a full refueling and Pax boarding + plus catering. Pushed back with the distance countdown increasing as I departed the stand. Departed and did a circuit to land on the departure runway. Selected C6 as my arrival stand on approach with no 'Follow me'. Approached the gate and nothing happened - no guidance either visually or in terms of numbers counting down.

I'm done with this for now.

Post by: GERAirborne272 on September 21, 2022, 01:33:52 pm: Reload GSX until you see the green box inside the menue "SimBrief Ok". Then you should see infos at your VDGS.
