Title: Gasoline truck with socket in the ground
Post by: dixdetension on September 08, 2022, 07:27:13 pm
Hello,
How do you get that kind of ground refueling with the socket in the ground? I've always had a basic truck. And I haven't seen anything in the manual that relates to this choice. Thanks

It depends on what aircraft you are flying. The type of fuel truck that arrives also depends on the height to ground distance from the wing.

In the past, the fuel truck that you posted on the screenshot, arrived for me when I used the MSFS 787 which is very tall.  The animation was awesome as the scissor lift platform lifted up all the way.

Thank you for the answer. I will try with larger than the 737-800

Sure thing.

If you mean the PMDG 737-800, the ground fuel truck will not come because the wing height is too low to the ground.  Umberto previously announced that the GSX team is developing a new fuel truck for the PMDG's.

Try the stock Microsoft 787 for the ground socket fuel truck.

Thanks. I look forward to this addition because not seeing this simulation with the PMDGs is a shame.
