i made a simbrief plan with the 738 airframe found on fs.to. i click "reload simbrief", i get the message "simbrief aircraft b738 doesn't match sim aircraft b737" when i am in the 738..? how do i bypass this? why is this even a thing?

That's not a GSX problem, it's the aircraft.cfg in the PMDG 737 that has the wrong icao type, B737 is for the 737-700, the -800 should be B738.

so, any workaround?

Did you actually read what was written in that link?
Do you need to have it all spelled out? The solution is right in there.

Hi!
Has this already been adressed? If I dispatch a flight via SimBrief using the B738 profile and then loading up the 738 in MSFS, I get an SimBrief Error "SimBrief Aircraft B738 doesnt match MSFS Aircraft 737" - but it is definitely a 738 and in Airplane customization from GSX its the profile "PMDG B737-800/700"

I've merged your post in the relevant thread, hoping that by reading the above explanation ( and the linked thread ), you'll understand why it's not a GSX problem or something that needs any fix on our side.
