This happened where aircraft boarding or debearding: the luggage cars drive up to the luggage compartments and the doors open automatically, but still asks me to open the doors. I can operate doors manually but GSX doesn't recognize it. Does this mean that the aircraft settings are incorrect? Can it be fixed somehow? Regards

I have the same problem with PMDG B737-800.
GSX wants me to open exits that doesn’t exist and aren’t active.

Are you using GSX in automatic service mode ? If yes, try turn it off and call Catering separately from Boarding.
-
Automatic service is not active.

For me also: Assistance services Auto Mode is OFF, Auto Mode ignore doors is not selected.

It works for me, so I think you might still not have the correct 737-800 default config. Please make sure that in the "customize aircraft" menu for the 737-800 you can read "internal database" on the top. If you can, click on "reset" in the same menu to delete any custom configs that might interfere with it.
After that it should work and recognize the doors.

The only way I can make this work i opposite: turning Auto Mode ON and ignore doors.

Please read what I wrote above and check that.

That's not the right way to do it, because even if you "solved" the missing automatic door opening feature, the airplane would still not be configured properly, so you really need to do what has been suggested in the previous post:
