Title: Invalid values in custom ini file
Post by: Lucky67 on August 25, 2022, 05:06:13 pm
I'm using the attached custom .ini file for the Aerosoft EDDK airport.
Most things are ok but in the log file I can read these warings for invalid 'parkingSystem_stopPosition' at several gates.

section %s, key %s: invalid value %s ('gate d 30', 'parkingSystem_stopPosition', '50.8826880076954 7.11594768739068 -75.7510375976562')
...
....
section %s, key %s: invalid value %s ('gate a 21', 'parkingSystem_stopPosition', '50.8756491146375 7.12008561818838 -151.766189575199')
section %s, key %s: invalid value %s ('gate a 10', 'parkingSystem_stopPosition', '50.8748600053289 7.12291889854179 -152.455761718751')

Will you please let me know what's wrong with those entries?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Luciano

It seems you haven't got the latest files, either run the FSDT Live Update or, if the problem persists, download and install the OFFLINE Installer linked at the top of this section.

Ok, thanks.
Those warnings disappeared after using the latest offline installer (just wondering if and when this issue with distribution servers will be sorted out ...).
I don't mean to annoy you further but what about these error messages here? Can I simply and safely ignore them?

Yes, they are mostly harmless, some object might have received a command before it was completely loaded, but it won't cause any issues.
