Hi,
Just wondering if theres a way to stop the pilot and crew boarding? I've seen the option on deboarding, but boarding doesn't seem to have it.
Thanks.
Ayster.

Has been a request with GSX for years now. I'm also a bit surprised that we apparently still can't control this ourselves.
"I" am in the aircraft, preparing the flight. When I call for boarding, I don't want to suddenly see crew boarding the plane 2min before the passengers arrive. It's just unrealistic...
Hope we can finally get this option.

Yes!
Please:
Complete control, when crew is boarding, when Pax are boarding and when cargo is loaded.
I find it (for my personal gameplay) highly unrealistic, that I sit in the cockpit and pilots are boarding. So I want to get rid of the crew at all. Best option would be to have the possibility to select crew pilots, crew stewards.
Then, cargo is started to load a lot earlier then pax. So best solution would be an option if one want the current boarding behaviour, or otherwise control all the steps crew pilots, crew stewards, cargo and pax individually.

I agree. These should all be separate requests.

yep agree since we being the pilots are already on board but still have the crew board though like seeing those short skirts :)
-
Yep, looks horrible, better not having them.

push ...
please make it possible to disable because it takes ages (and more ages as they always walk in alone like being on a catwalk)

As others have said, this is needed. Just make it the same option you get at the end of the deboarding. Even though 9 out of 10 times the crew isn't needed since I'm in the cockpit to start with already and setting up the plane ;)

+10. This is the first time I have ever used GSX jumping in to MSFS after 20 years break in simming, I kind of have the feeling at times with this tool I am back in the early 2000s...

The purpose of this addons is to make flight preparation more realistic. But I ask you: how realistic is to stay half an hour in the cockpit preparing EFB, MCDU and when boarding start you see pilots and crew arrive in the plane?

Just separate the boardings when possible. So when boarding an option to board the crew and after you prepared the aircraft another boarding of the pax (maybe even cargo separated for full control)
-
I'm new to GSX, I kind of like watching the Captain and Co-Pilot board the plane. I wouldn't want to see them permanently excluded, but am fine with adding an exclude option in the menu.
So having said that, +1

Crew and passengers should be separated for boarding and deboarding
-
Separate control for crew boarding would be a great feature to have.
Alternatively, when one initialises GSX for an aircraft prior to departure, i.e. request external power & operate stairs/jetway, crew boarding should start immediately at the Departure airport. Nonetheless, end user control or option to exclude crew boarding would be the best option I guess.
Thanks

Since a few days after deboarding I'm not asked anymore if the crew should be deboarded or not. So the crew stays in the plane..

It's likely because the GSX toolbar menu was closed. Please read the manual at Pages 66-67 how the menu works and when, when it closed, GSX doesn't have any chance to open it automatically, because there's no way in the SDK to do that from Simconnect ( if there was, the menu and GSX overall would be so much easier to use ), so with the toolbar icon Inactive, the menu asking who's supposed to be Deboarded has been skipped.

Thank you very much Umberto, the next time I will have a more detailed look at the active/inactive state :)

+1. Seems silly. I use FSFO and by time ask for boarding myself, co-pilot and crew are already in plane and have pretyy much prepped the coackpit. Just needs to be the passnegers. This is a no brainer to have an option. I did do a Twin Otter flight to St Marys and must admit that was good to have everyone get on with the passngers and then I commenced start up procedures though 4 crew was a bit overboard in the Twin!!.

I don't see what's point keep commenting on this, after we confirmed multiple times the option not to board Crew WILL be present in a future update.

+1 there should be an option for boarding as well
