Title: Quick Pushback Help
Post by: Doc12345 on December 19, 2021, 12:45:12 am
Hello,  I am having a bit of a problem.  I have searched the forums, manual, etc., but have not been able to find an answer.  While in the sim getting ready for a pushback I select the option quick pushback edit.  The simulation pauses and I am given an outside view - not top down - and I can't seem to move the aircraft.  How do I do this?

The simulator didn't actually pause, but rather, it's in slew mode. If you know how to work slew mode to move the airplane, it's the same idea. You use the number pad to move the plane around, and when you've selected where you want to move the plane, just exit slew mode.

If you are on P3D4/5, you can use the mouse to specify the pushback final position, by clicking and rotating with the mouse wheel. And, like anything else in the GSX editing modes ( which work by setting the airplane in Slew ), when you are done editing, you exit with the Slew key, usually Y.
