I am still having problems with O'Hare. Only a part of terminal B is showing up.

I have rerun the above process. I am still having problems with O'Hare. Only a part of terminal B is showing up.
If the program is running without the error, you will see the "Addon Manager" and the "Couatl Powered" plugins menu under FSX. This confirms that everthing is running.
If the programs are not running, you will not see any buildings, not just some of them. If the programs are running correctly, you will see all buildings.
So, please, confirm you are seeing both menus under the "Addons" menu

It's obviously impossible to help you with such a generic description of the problem so, before anything else: which is the exact error message you see ?
- Are you using the current version of the Addon Manager ? If not sure, download and install the current version of the Stand-Alone Addon Manager, after you installed the scenery, with the scenery installed.
- Have you seen any error messages when installing the Addon Manager ?
- Have you turned OFF your antivirus when installing the scenery and/or the updated Addon Manager ?
- Have you configured your Antivirus to ignore the following files, before trying to run FSX again ?
\Your_FSX_folder\fsdreamteam\Couatl\couatl.exe
\Your_FSX_folder\bglmanx.dll
- Have you seen the question about trusting the Addon Manager when you installed the new version ?
- Have you replied YES to that question ?
- Have you done the same for Couatl ?
-
hi!
thx for your quick answer

Yes, it means your EXE.XML or DLL.XML already had a syntax error before running our installer, because the installer checks it before touching it.
Post your files, using the Attach function of the forum, files are located here:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX\DLL.XML
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX\EXE.XML
So I can fix them for you.

Thx for your quick answer!
this is the 2 files you asked to me
thx for your help and your fix support ;)
-
Here's your fixed file: it was only the DLL.XML that had a problem: the 3 pmdg sections were put before the xml header.
Now you can reinstall the stand-alone addon Manager without errors.
-
i'm gonna try, i'll ask you if everything is okay ;)
thx a lot !
greetings
-
well
after 2 retry i've another error message:
d:/games/microsoft/flight simulator x/fsdreamteam/couatl/pyexpat.pyd
an error occured while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
Movefile Failed; code 183
any idea? thx a lot
-
This error means you are running the installer with an FSX that hasn't properly closed. Rebooting Windows will surely fix it.
-
yep
after that i ve received a message error about couatl i start again, and my lsgg was without any buildings so i have followed your advices in another thread and everything is cool now ;) (reinstall addon manager after addons install...) it's great!
thx a lot!
i'm gonna post some screenshots about lsgg with a b-52, i ve just taken ! ;) thx again!

There is no need to ask the same question twice on two different threads. As suggested in many other threads in the forum, the first thing to tr is to install the Stand-alone Addon Manager for FSX, links for it are everywere on the web site, on the home page, and on every Info page of each product.

I had a similar problem, but with the jetways. It was solved by making sure AES was at the top in your library and a re-sync was done. Just a thought.
Everything is fine now.
