Title: P3Dv4.5 Hotfix3
Post by: sticky1202 on April 19, 2020, 01:48:14 pm
I updated P3Dv4.5 content with hotfix3, and now I have no displays at the gates at KORDv2. Do I need to update anything else?

Did you update the Client as well? Also good to run FSDT live update after updating the sim.

You cannot update just the Content. The Client is mandatory to update the sim, the Content is optional and it's usually best installing it but without the Client, the hotfix installation is surely not complete.

:-[  I misspoke. I updated the client. I am now running version 4.5.14.34698. I have run the FSDT update numerous times since. Thanks!

Then what you are reporting shouldn't happen, since display panels work just fine in KORD V2 with the latest Hotfix 3, as confirmed by Dave_YVR who posted before. Try the usual suggestion of refreshing the shaders, by removing this folder:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d V4\Shaders

Then wait a minute or so ( there will be a black screen, it's normal ) for the scenery to come back again on the next start.

Also, be sure you don't have the "Disable RTT"  option checked in the Addon Manager. By default is not checked in P3D 4.4 or 4.5, and unless you have problems with it ( for example using SLI ), it should always be unchecked, otherwise those panels and other things related to it won't work.

Somehow my settings changed, "disable RTT" was checked! I'm 100% sure I did not change it, but whatever. Problem solved. Thank you!
