I received a Runtime Error (at183:3653): Data error (cyclic redundancy check) error window when trying to update using FSDT Live Update. I tried to fix by downloading the addon manager again but error still exists.
-
Doesn't happen here, tried many times. As usual:
- Configure the antivirus to exclude the Addon Manager folder from scanning
- Run the Live Update again
-
I verified that it is not being scanned by the antivirus. I am including another picture that shows better where the error occurs. The update starts as normal, scanning and updating as it goes until it reaches the point shown in the picture. It always stops at this point.
-
Try to log the update process, this way:
- Go to the folder the Live Update is installed, by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager and type the following on the file Explorer address bar.
CMD and then press Enter
- A command prompt should open on that path. Type the following:
Couatl_Updater2.exe /LOG=logfile.txt
Run the installer and wait for the error to appear. A log.txt file should have been created in the same folder. ZIP it and attach it to a post, so I can check what's going on with your system.

Thanks! I will this evening when I get home.

Here is the file you requested...
-
Check this:
- Right-click on the Couatl_updater2.exe file in the Addon Manager folder.
- Select Properties->Digital Signatures->Details and report the time/date of the digital signature.
-
Is this what you need?

Is this what you need?
I only needed the date of the digital signature.
In any case, yes, it's outdated, because the current version is dated October 10th, while yours has a signature of October 9th. Assuming, of course, you read the digital signature of the correct file, the one I asked, which is Couatl_updater2.exe
If your Couatl_updater2.exe is outdated, then I can only repeat and confirm the problem can only be caused by either an antivirus or a firewall blocking the download because, when you run the Couatl_updater from the Desktop icon ( which starts Couatl_updater.exe NOT Couatl_updater2.exe ), it's supposed to DOWNLOAD the LATEST Couatl_updater2.exe, which does the actual update.
If it hasn't, it can only mean something blocked the download.
