Title: Why am I being charged for VAT if I live in New Zealand

I went to check out GSX 2 and I am being charged VAT even though I don't live in Europe, is this correct?

Are you guys registered with IRD in New Zealand to collect GST? Your checkout isn't showing this, or what your GST number is

You have been charged for VAT, because your country passed a law that requires digital downloads to be liable of VAT/GST added, in 2016

Please note that we are not selling you anything, Esellerate/Digital River does so, while we might not reach the yearly annual income to become liable of VAT/GSX, Digital River surely does, so they charged you correctly according to the law of your country.

OK That makes sense, they would have the GST number

You should change your checkout to show VAT/GST to avoid the confusion
