Title: Im floating

I'm currently running KMEM just fine and thought I would look at a few other airports.  KMEM is fine, but at demo KJFK and KIAH my PMDG MD-11 is floating about 500 feet above the taxiway.  I have never installed any 3rd party at these airport and have doubled checked with a duplicate checker.  Ground services will activate if requested.

I have read about floating GSE equipment (which I don't have), but haven't seen anyone with a floating aircraft.  Any ideas?

Try to put the plane in Slew mode, then advance it forward very slightly, and then exit from Slew.

That does work but is there a permanent fix so I don't have to do it every time?

It's a problem that can happen anywhere, randomly.

I've just experienced it now, using a default airport with a default airplane and moving there using the default "Go To Airport" menu so, I'm not sure there's anything we can do about it.
