Title: Aircraft wings are clipping into each other parked at the gate
Post by: sidfadc on June 13, 2016, 01:50:23 pm
Hi guys,

I've noticed when I'm at a gate other aircraft are parked next to each other and they are clearly the wrong size for the gate because their wings touch?  I'm at work now so I can't provide a lot of detail, what is the issue?  I'm not sure if the aircraft are static or AI, unlike other payware airports I don't recall having a config manager where I can disable static aircraft.  I use WOAI for AI so it could have something to do with this as well.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Sid

There are a few gates where you will get some overlap but overall it's not bad for a generic setup. The other big contributor to overlap is that the AI models have incorrect wing_span set in their aircraft.cfg's resulting in larger aircraft often parking in smaller spots than they should.

I find this happening in most cases and not just unique to these programs.  I find though this program does a dramatically better job of sorting than the standalone FSX system.
