Title: KLAX West Gates question

Hello,

Just got a quick question someone may be able to shed some light on for me.  I have KDFW and KLAX from FSDreamTeam installed, on most landings at KLAX when flying my United 737 I'm directed to the West Gates when requesting Taxi to Gates instead of the United terminal.  These are the gate numbers around 210, etc..

Is there a reason it does this or is it something I may not be doing right, the plane is the default 737 with a United paint but it's identified as UAL when I check the details, not sure if this might be the cause or not.

As always, any help is greatly appreciated if you have time.

The airline livery for the airplane you are flying doesn't affect the default ATC parking assignment, only those of the AIs will.

OK thanks, I read somewhere that I could choose a different gate in GEX than what the default ATC assigned without getting yelled at by the controller, is that right?
