Title: Feedback on installed YVR scenery
Post by: Zigarten on May 31, 2015, 05:15:50 am
Experiencing some stutters in the Lower Mainland. Here is a list of what I installed, can anyone tell me the worst culprit is?

Traffic360
BC Ferries
ORBX Libraries
PNG Holgermesh <----should this be at a higher number?
All my Orbx all mishmash from 7 through  34  does it matter that mesh is mixed with city and Yosemite regional
the FSDT CYVR
BeaverX-Pier39 BeaverPier39
Vanplus v3\Vanplus_Higher_priority
"                "          Lower_priority     <---------- ok that I have both? Was I suppose to just pick one?
PNG Bush Flying
PNG Bush PNG Mesh   <---------- conflict with Holger? This is the raw grit Papaua New Guinea stuff.

What are the ideal settings in FSX AI boats etc.

Thank you for any advice!
Gord

CYVR should be above your ORBX entries, it sits on the area covered by Pacific Northwest.

Just having "some stutters", with all that stuff installed ( yes, FSDT CYVR should be on top of everything, and you will probably need to remove the CYVR AFCAD from Traffic360 too ), it's a *very* good result, you should be happy your FSX doesn't OOM.

So to make sure I never have any OOM's, what would you suggest I should do? I could randomly remove things but I thought I'd ask for some feedback.

You can't totally prevent OOM, it's pretty much inherent in both FSX and P3D, and will be as long as they're 32 bit programs.  If we ever get to 64 bit and can use more memory, you would be OOM less often.

Like A/C? A mixture, I use Air Hauler to get off my a** and actually go places, great motivator, especially when you owe the bank $22,000,000 for a used 737 and you just pranged a Metroliner into the side of a mountain ::).

Caravan's too. Oh and a Carenad Twin Otter

Lucky you.   ;D
My luck has run out Bruce. After adding Orbx Global, Vectors & Land-class flying the Lionheart Lear over "default" area I got it.  :-\
