Title: PMDG 777 **SOLVED**
Post by: gfd on March 04, 2015, 08:21:01 am
I wanted to determine the best way to make an aircraft change. On the PMDG 777-200 the jet bridge attaches at exit 2L. I tested that at gate 174 at CYYZ (FlyTampa) and gate 54 at CYVR (FSDT).

GSX wanted 1L opened when boarding passengers. If I delete gate 1L in the GSX aircraft config, will GSX go to 2L? Or is that not the correct soultion?

One other thing if OK...I notice that, unlike Aerosoft Airbus, I am not getting green message ribbon across top of screen requesting actions. This is with latest P3D hotfix (12944) and latest stand alone addon manager update.

Thanks,

Graham

This has been discussed several times on the forum: if you want GSX to use the 2nd door, you must edit the airplane configuration and switch the doors:

This cannot be possibly related to GSX in any way, especially considering it works with the Airbus, it's not that GSX messages are made in a different way depending on the airplane used, they are always 100% standard Simconnect calls, but if Simconnect didn't work properly with an airplane, nothing would work, not just the messages.

Calls for action are showing up in the GSX menu. Just no ribbon message.  This is FYI.

I am bumping my own topic. The issue with reduced messages was due to my moving the message slider down a notch. I didn't realize the extent to which the messages would be reduced.
