Title: Terrain Issues [SOLVED]
Post by: physx91 on September 11, 2014, 05:25:11 pm
Hi, I've recently discovered after buying Flightbeams KDEN that now all of my fsdt airports have terrain issues.
Theses issues include what's seems to be hills or rocks in the middle of taxi ways. Taxing over these causes a crash or the airplane to flip then crash.
Theses "rocks" are around taxi way E17, and  B near were there is a decreased terrain elevation such as there a bridge.
Any knowledge of this happening after installing Flightbeams KDEN or any fix to this issue?
I've deleted fsx.cfg tried reinstalling KLAX KIAH KDFW but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. I've also moved FSDT airports above Flightbeams but hasn't made a difference.
Any ideas on how to fix the problem?
Thanks

You probably haven't set the Mesh Complexity slider as explained in the Design Notes of the sceneries that are affected by this, like KLAX and KDFW. Use the settings indicated in the Manual, not less, not more.

Yep looks like i changed the mesh complexity and that caused the problem.
Thanks for the help and the quick response!.
