Title: PHLI elevation problems
Post by: jcm3mia on August 07, 2014, 03:18:41 am
I just purchased the Hawaii package. There seems to be an elevation issue in PHLI. The airport seems to be sunken into a bowl but parts of it are like 20 feet higher. I have an almost pristine setup except for 2 ORBX products; FTX Global base pack, ORBX FTX Global Vector and the Pilot's Global Mesh FTX compatible.

Do you have an idea what could be causing the altitude issue?

Have you run the global vector elevation correction since installing HLI?

No, I have not. That software is new also and I haven't had a chance to read the pdf. Going to do it right now and get back to you. Thanks.

I didn't realize it was ORBX that I needed to adjust, all's well now, thanks for the help.

You should also get the following AFM - Aerodrome Flattening Meshes.  It fixed a few elevation issues caused by FS Global 2010 that ftx vector cannot fixed.
