Title: Coast Guard Building Doors
Post by: por930 on April 19, 2014, 06:32:04 am
Hi Umberto,
I noticed that the end doors on the Coast Guard building do not indicate as closed until you are on the 'first concrete pad' in front of the building. If you use the slew controls, you can see where there appears to be a 'magic' measurement at the second concrete pad to activate the visibility of the end doors. Just curious.

If you are referring to the animation, FSX has a built-in optimization that turn off every animation after a certain distance.

If, instead, you are referring to part of the objects appearing/disappearing, it's possible it's the LOD optimization, which can be more visible if you use a very wide zoom angle, like 0.30 or less.
