CYVR jetways not moving
« on: January 22, 2014, 05:03:10 am »
Hello,
For some reason the jetways at the GORGEOUS cyvr are static and dont work for my aircraft of AI ones. I dont use UT2 so the jetway option on that is out the question and I have never had any other AFCAD for CYVR. Any ideas?

Surely CYVR has working jetways. Have you tried several of them, and none is working ?

What AI do you use? There's has to be a proper [exits] setting in each aircraft.cfg for the jetways to work as well.

These are two separate issues:

If jetways don't work for AI, it might be caused one of these:

- Your AIs don't have their exits specified in their aircraft.cfg

OR

- It's a LOD optimization effect. Since we optimize for performances using LOD, jetways have animations only when seen from a close distance. This usually means you'll see a jetway moving only on AI close to your viewpoint.

If, instead, jetways don't work on your airplane, this might be caused by one of these:

- Your own airplane don't have the exits specified in its aircraft.cfg

OR

- You are not parked correctly in the middle of the parking spot

In BOTH cases, jetways won't work if you haven't the "Advanced Animations" option enabled in the FSX Graphic Settings
