Fuel Truck Add On Request
« on: October 22, 2013, 11:29:04 am »

Would it be possible at some stage to upgrade the fuel truck so that when it is requested, instead of it just parking up and sitting next to the aircraft a fuel hose rolls out and connects to the aircraft.

Thank you

Yes this has been requested many times already, if you do a search in the GSX forum.

Along with:

-De-icing
-Real passengers coming from the Passenger bus

It also explains them in the GSX manual as well.

Ok thanks for the info. Although I don't come here that much so don't know what has or has not been asked. I prefer to be flying  ;)

Getting a man to jump out of the truck is one thing, but unrolling a hose too?  At least calling GSX fuel truck opens the fuel window...   ;)

It needn't be that elaborate, unless of course you fancy a challenge  :)

How about this idea then.
Perhaps once the fuel truck has parked up and fuel requested a fuel hose automatically connects from the truck to the underside of the wing. It needn't even be a moving animation, just showing there, in a blink of the eye.

Or

Something like Aerosofts Enhanced Services (see attachment)

Apologies for sending two images the same. The first timed out so I assumed it hadn't gone.

The issue with the fuel truck being one of the things that need improvements in GSX has been discussed already and yes, it's under consideration for future upgrades. And no, in case we'll do it, we'll not do it in a rough way, but with the proper animation.

You cannot be doing much flying because you are always on here complaining about something, or making suggestions that have been made countless times before.

47 posts in seven months, hardly always on here!!

I'm not complaining at all, just putting a question which as a member I am entitled to do.

I don't come on here often, mainly because of rude, unwelcoming people like you.

If you have nothing good to say then say nothing.

With regard to rude people, I would refer you to your previous topic "Request for front door to open but no stairs provided",
especially Reply Nos. 9 and 10.

As a new user, i have to say that the fuel truck animation is a must.  After a quick search I found this topic... and is worth the wait.

I imagine that animation similarly well done...just like the macarena dancing.

I appreciate roberto that you offer only high quality animations.  Worth the wait.
