Tom Ruth's A340-300 & PHNL Jetways
« on: November 20, 2013, 03:15:31 am »
Now, this is weird. Considering buying FSDT PHNL for FSX, so I installed the trial. Trying out various AC in my hangar to see if the jetways worked. POSKY 747, 777-300, Embraer E190, and MD DC-10-30 (incidently all original FS9 models) all had the jetways working using CTRL-J, except one. I could not get PHNL, using Tom Ruth's A340-300, to activate the jetways as parked at a "heavy" gate. Just this model, which is an FSX model.  ???

Can anyone offer an explanation?

Thanks

Hi
Downloaded this file TomRuth_A340_23V2 tested on gate 33 30 11 no problem.
Just to remind that only one Jetway work not both.
One of possible problem is the lacks of exit in the Aircraft.cfg, but the one I downloaded was correct.
[exits]
number_of_exits = 4
exit.0 = 0.4,  68.87, -6.0, 6.5, 0    ;Percent per second
exit.1 = 0.04,   -66.35,  7.497, -4.905, 1    ;Percent per second
exit.2 = 0.4,   -28.803, -8.540, -3.868, 2    ;Percent per second
exit.3 = 0.4,   -28.803, -8.540, -3.868, 2    ;Percent per second

Thanks Simbio. That did it. "Exits" were listed in the original aircraft cfg, but using the one you provided did the trick.
