Help with missing terminal

Hey guys, great jobs on making the scenery.. But my south terminal close to runway 18 is missing. Black grounds with gates.. I can see the north terminal with gates just fine.  So what is the problem ?

And then if i try to install the update, this will come up and crash my game

It's not possible you would see this *after* the update, because that's a very old (2.8.1.1) Addon Manager version, the current version is 2.9.0.12, be sure you antivirus is not blocking the updates and downloads, and try with the current FULL installer for KDFW.

I turn off the anti-virus (Norton) during the installation and i just install the new add-on manager from the website and same thing happens. It doesn't fix anything. So i just un-install the whole scenery to wait for proper fix.

Anyway, is the DFW download V2 or V1 and needs V2 update ? I saw it's at 1.....?

And what about the fix for the terminal ?

As explained in many other threads about the antivirus, it's NOT enough to just turn off the antivirus when installing. BEFORE launching FSX, you must configure the antivirus to exclude the following files from scanning:

YourFSXorP3DFolder\fsdreamteam\Couatl\Couatl.exe
YourFSXorP3DFolder\bglmanx.dll

THEN, you can finally start the sim.

So i just un-install the whole scenery to wait for proper fix.

There's nothing to fix, the problem is entirely on your side, and is surely caused by the antivirus, it will be fixed by configuring it properly.

All full installers on our site are always the most current version, they don't need any update if you just download them now.

Did all the steps.. still doesnt have south terminal.

I'm sorry, but if you see *most* of the buildings, just missing one terminal, it's nothing related in any way to installation or antivirus. You wouldn't see anything, if this was the case.

Most likely, it's a problem with your video drivers or settings, or video memory corruption.

Try all the following:

- Update your video driver

- Reset your video driver settings to default

- Reset the FSX settings to default, by removing the following file:

%APPDATA%\Microsof\FSX\FSX.CFG

This will force FSX to rebuild a new config with all default settings. After doing this, be sure you apply the HIGHMEMFIX tweak in the Addon Manager, save the settings and restart FSX.

Hey, it works after i re-do my Fsx.cfg thing and apply the fix. However, the taxiway line and the ground is good for couple of seconds then it blur out and it's kinda annyoing.. Any fix ?

Be sure you use Anisotropic filtering on your video card control Panel at 8x or 16x

How do you do it on the nvidia inspector.. I did it and it get worse on both 8x and 16x

Sorry, I don't use nvidia inspector, it's way easier with just the default control panel.

Yeah, i try to change it 16x.. It cleared for a sec then blur then back to clear and keeps repeat itself over and over again
and at 8x..it cleared for a min then disappear forever
and these symptom i never saw it happens at other airports, idk why it happens here


I'm using Nvidia GTX 660ti with latest driver

Fact that they work for a brief time, seems to indicate you have another tweaker or program that is conflicting with the settings. Try to uninstall every possible program or utility that has anything to do with the video card.
