GSX airport indexing refresh?
« on: November 24, 2015, 07:04:56 pm »
I recently upgraded a third party airport. This airport obviously comes with it's own scenery AFCAD / BGL file. To prevent some graphical errors, the developer recommends removing this same airports BGL from MyTraffic 6\Scenery folder as there are some known conflicts, even when scenery library priority is correctly set.

So I deleted this BGL in MyTraffic6 \Scenery but now when landing at this airport, GSX reports an error - cant find the BGL that I deleted. How can I make it re-index to identify the active BGL for the airport and not look for the inactive/deleted one?

GSX should automatically detect a change in your Scenery Library. If it doesn't, you can force a refresh by removing the following folders:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\SceneryIndexes
C:\ProgramData\Virtuali\Couatl
