I just installed dx10 fixer from steve parson and I got an error message
I don't think the problem is the DX10 fixer itself, there might be something related to running DX10 in the first place, related to some external video card utilities you might have installed.
These are the known causes of that error message:
- If you have the ATI Tray Tools utility installed, you must disable the "Automatic Overclock" feature.
- If you have the Radeon Pro utility installed, you must disable "API monitoring" or use the setting "disable API monitoring for programs not listed in my profiles list"
Other products known to caused this problem are:
- The Lenovo One Key Theater and Power management software
- The Trillian instant messenger.
