No buildings. :/

Hey,

I really love the fsdt scenery but suddenly when i go to jfk v2, chicago, zurich, dallas, vegas, los angeles or geneva i only see the gates and the rest of the building just disappeared. When i uninstall it en install it again they appear again, but after deactivating them in the scenery library and later on reactivate them the buildings have yet again disappeared. Maybe handy to say, when i go to the addon manager all of the airports except jfk v2 say activated but not installed.

"Not installed", for a scenery, means is not active in the Scenery Library, which means you haven't installed it, or you disabled it.

If you see buildings disappearing, you should touch the Scenery Library (assuming you did install the scenery in the first place) but, instead, check if you still have BOTH the "Addon Manager" AND the "Couatl powered products" under the FSX "Addons" menu.

And what's the status in the Scenery Library ? Is the scenery there, with the correct path, and active ?

Ok, that's for sure will result in buildings to disappear. Is something that just happened while FSX was running, or the Couatl menu doesn't appear anymore now, even if you restart FSX ?

Try a Windows restart, that sometimes helps.

Restarting my fsx didn't help and restarting my computer also didn't.

Oke so i updated my addon manager from 2.0.9.6 to .7 and then briefly it showed the building. And my couatl menu is still missing.

Check if you have the Couatl menu if you start FSX on a default airport.

Ok, when you still have it, try to enable logging in the "Troubleshooting" section of the "GSX Settings page", then exit FSX, enter it again, and go to the FSDT airport that used to crash it.

Exit from FSX, and check your %APPDATA%\Virtuali folder for the following files: Couatl.LOG and Couatl.ERR which should have been generated there.

Post both files (or just the .LOG file, if you don't have any .ERR file) here.

It's under the "GSX Settings" page under the Couatl menu.

Uhm my "Couatl-powered products" menu under "dd-ons" in fsx doesn't give me the option of "gsx settings". Only "Check live update" "Restart Couatl" and "key mappings".
