Boarding and Deboarding too quickly?
« on: September 05, 2013, 03:12:19 pm »
Hi Guys,

I'm after a bit of advise I've looked at the settings for timing and I'm a little lost, I fly the 777 and 737 both of which my company has. I've noticed that using the new PMDG 777 with GSX the loading and unloading of PAX is far to quick. At our airline for long haul we're boarding at -45 from departure and it's boarding right up to -10

What's the best way to adjust this?

Hi Yes I have seen this - can you elaborate on its usage?

That's not much to say: there's a time per passenger and a minimum time. The actual time is calculated with this formula:

( time_per_passenger * n_of_passengers ) + minium_time

And the dialog will indicate the result with the numbers you inserted, with some typical passenger figures (100, 200, 500, etc.) The number of passengers is estimated by calculating the total number of load stations, and divide by 220 lbs, which is the industry standard to estimate weight of a passenger + his luggage.
