GSX disables the default Pushback truck.

You can restore it by copying the vehicles_airport.gsx file to vehicles_airport.bgl in the Scenery\Global\Scenery folder. This will restore the default Pushback truck, but you'll then have both trucks, which might result in visual conflicts depending on the scenery.

Any other ideas?

I would love to have AI also being push backed again .

the only way to disable the PB trucks for your AC is to disable them altogether including the AI

No solution, it's either AI not pushed back, or double pushback trucks.
