Will it have shadows the same as CYVR or will it have different technics than Vancouver?
Yes, of course.
It will likely have even more hourly transitions, since their number only affect hard disk space, not memory usage. Dynamic shadows are what makes the difference between a "live" scenery, and one that looks good only in screenshot, which is why all that purchased CYVR love it and wouldn't want to settle for anything less, for a scenery released in 2013.
Fortunately, the Houston area is not so crowded with other 3rd party add-ons which takes away almost all available memory before our scenery get even into play, so OOMs shouldn't be very likely, but the scenery will of course offer the same memory configuration options as CYVR so, if one want to use all its memory with photoreal sceneries and memory-hungry airplanes, he'll have the ability to stretch down memory used by the scenery as much as needed, just like CYVR.
