« on: July 01, 2013, 09:22:16 pm »
hi all, i just got the ft lauderdale scenery for fsx and i do not see any buildings and alot of black area. now when i first ran fsx after the install it have me a prompt weather or not i wanted to run a certain software. not knowing what it was i chose "never run". not sure if that has anything to to with it or not. If it does is there a way to overturn that?

That was your mistake. If you just installed a software, and you deny it from running, you can't expect it would work...

To Undo this, Uninstall the scenery and when it asks "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager?" and "Do you want to remove the Couatl scripting engine?", reply YES to BOTH questions.

Then, reinstall the scenery, and be sure this time you allow everything that asks permission to run.

Maybe you also have inadvertently Un-trusted us as a Publisher, so nothing signed by us will run.

To fix this, go to the Control Panel, under "Internet Options", look for the "Content" tab, there should be a "Publishers" button, that will list the software publishers that you trusted, and another tab with untrusted publishers. If you see "Virtuali s.a.s", remove it from both tabs (especially if it's under untrusted)
