Uninstalling JFK v1

I don't have an entry for JFK to uninstall under Programs and Features in the WIN7 Control Panel, so is it okay to simply remove the scenery from the FSX Scenery Library and then delete the JFK folders and files from the fsdreamteam directory?  JFK v1 does show as installed and active in the Addon Manager. Do I need to deactivate it first, before deleting the files and folders? Thanks!

You should have an entry for JFK, it's listed under "Fsdreamteam JFK". However, if you lost it, perhaps because of a problem with your Windows registry, you should remove the following:

- the Fsdreamteam JFK area from the Scenery Library inside FSX

- the following folders:

FSX\fsdreamteam\JFK
FSX\Simobjects\Misc\FSDT_JFK
FSX\Simobjects\GroundVehicles\VEH_air_bagmov_JFK
FSX\Simobjects\GroundVehicles\VEH_air_furgone_JFK
FSX\Simobjects\GroundVehicles\VEH_air_pushb_JFK
FSX\fsdreamteam\Couatl\JFK
FSX\fsdreamteam\Couatl\ParkMe
