Does the ground scenery shadow option need to be ticked?
« on: March 28, 2013, 06:38:32 am »
Hi!
I just bought your Vancouver scenery yesterday and I really love it, it's a piece of art!
I only spend 1 hour or so around and in it with some helicopters to explore all its beauty! I am really looking forward to doing my first flights into or from Vancouver!
My question is:
Does the option ground scenery shadows within FSX settings have to be ticked to take advantage of your DST?
I used to have it off since the give a little loss in fps, and I want to
have my sim as smooth as possible.
Thanks in advance for clarification!
Greets,
Michael

No, that's the main advantage of it: they don't effect fps like standard shadows would do, and that option do not affect them either.
