I can help you, I have some experience with FSX crashes.

Quote
FSX is not starting correctly

Can you explain this better what's happening?

Quote
running correctly

By "running correctly", I suppose you mean you are getting the G3D.dll crash mid flight?

If your answer is "Yes", can you specify *where*, and do you have FSUIPC 4.8 or above installed?

Quote
shutting down right

Again, please explain what is exactly happening, but I am guessing it's crashing on exit?

FSUIPC 4.70. Most of the crashes happen when I want to close the sim after the flight. But some of the time after I choose my flight options and the progress bar is loading toward 60 -80% it will white screen and a small info box from windows comes on and says, fatal error windows is searching for solution. It never finds it and I close it down. When it does start up I have flown a 149 minute flight without incident. I have Windows 7,64 bit home premium. So most of the time, yes it crashes on exit.

I read all of the posts here about C++2005 and installed the ones Virtuali provided in the posts but that didnt help. All I have installed to this point is FSDT,ORBX,REXessential plus,UT2,4 different payware aircraft and FSUIPC 4.0 Please let me know if this answers your questions or if there is anything else I can do.

Thank you for wanting to help :)

FSUIPC 4.70

Upgrade to the latest version of FSUIPC. It contains a G3D.dll ctd fix for MOST *mid* flight crashes. Other Crashes due to G3D.dll are usually caused by a missing texture in the scenery.. etc.

Got it. Crashes when exiting FSX are 99% of the time stackhash crashes. If you research the AVSIM CTD forum, you will notice there are quite a few cases of this occurring lately.

Unfortunately, there is no know solution for the stackhash CTD. Users have reported problems with Fsinn/Fscopilot, but other than that your only solution is to re-install Windows 7/FSX.

Instead of closing your FSX in fullscreen mode, you could try closing in windowed mode..

Fortunately, this CTD won't "hurt" your FSX installation in any way, and your game will function as normal. It may even go away over time.

But some of the time after I choose my flight options and the progress bar is loading toward 60 -80%

This indicates a problem with your AI program.

Well Boone the install of FSUIPC4.8.6.0. did the trick.I just finished 233 minute flight without incident. It even shut down right.Whoo hoo.So thanks for the info and help on this.Just one unrelated question,I want to run a FSX registry repair tool because when the flight log gets full FSX useally wont start untill you delete all flights.Where is the FSX.exe file? Windows 7 64bit Home premium.

                                                                                                    Thank you :)

.It even shut down right

Surprised FSUPIC fixed the stackhash crash on exit, but oh well!

Where is the FSX.exe file?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Scroll down until you see "fsx.exe"
