vLSO NC Grade
« on: January 22, 2014, 05:53:10 pm »
Hopefully an easy question.

I had stopped flying for a while but after I spent a week on the Nimitz for a Tiger Cruise I got motivated to start flying again.

So, here's my question.  Any pass that is not a waveoff is being graded as NC which from what I can tell means No Count.  Even on a pass that was on speed, caught the 3 wire and had very close to the 700fpm descent, it was graded as a NC.

Mike,
Most likely you're flying in the Manual Ball/Clara mode. The logic of 0.7.1.2 beta is that it doesn't count your good (i.e. not waved off) pass if you have not called either Ball or Clara. That's why you keep getting NC's...
Want it done right? Do it yourself!

Are manual ball calls on by default now?  I didn't think that I had them enabled but I will switch the settings anyway and see what it does.  Thanks for the lead.

That was it.  I had manual ball call and manual clara enabled.  Thanks for the assist.
