Zante x
« on: January 27, 2013, 11:22:17 pm »
Hello,
Firstly I would like to say hello to the FSDT community, it is my first purchase and I am very impressed. However i'm currently having a problem at Zante with live in fsx. I park on a stand and when I open GSX it asks if I want a follow me/warp to 3 stands (There are more than 3) which are all to small. I decided to warp to them and they just put me on locations such as the car park? FSX understands where the parking spaces are just not GSX? All the other airports work fine such as AS Sharm and UK2000 EGCC.

Thank you!

Jacob

There might be a problem with that airport AFCAD, so GSX is using the default instead.

Ok, would you recommend I contact live in fsx? Or can I fix it?
Thanks

Now it's not very clear what your problem is. Is GSX not using the correct AFCAD ONLY at Zante X, or in any 3rd party airport ? That would be an *entirely* different issue, it's possible there's a problem with the FSX and/or GSX airport cache. To recreate it, remove the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\SceneryIndexes folder, then launch FSX and let it rebuild its cache, then wait for GSX to do the same, then exit from FSX and enter it again when it's done.

Still seams to do the same thing, I had a look at the log and I see this -
 IGNORING Addon Scenery/Zante X/scenery (layer 162): not a directory
 IGNORING Addon Scenery/Rhodes Xtreme/Scenery (layer 163): not a directory
And as a result the default ground plans are in use by GSX

Thanks

It turns it out was due to my labeling in the addons scenery library. Its fixed now!!! :D Thanks for your suggestion on deleting the cache that seemed to clean up fsx abit :)
