Question on lowering amount of traffic?
« on: January 20, 2013, 05:41:53 pm »
I just bought Just light's Traffic 360 and so far it's good. Haven't seen any aircraft takeoff or land, but I remember it takes a little bit for FSX to start that process. Anyway it keeps telling me to lower the amount of traffic more than 1000 connections taking place. I've lowered it down to 35 for civil and 20 for GA. I'm wondering if I go any lower will it be empty? OR does that even affect the program?

You have to remember that 35 and 20 is for everywhere, not just where you are.  If you're using ATC (and you should be, for realism), having it too high will result in you always being walked over by AI.

What would you say is a good % to put it at? And still have a large amount of traffic coming and going and on the ramp? I've brought the amount down to 18% and it still tells me to lower it. Then the airport looks like a default FSX airport, with hardly any planes there. If I go any lower then buying Traffic 360 will be a waste of money, which I don't want it to be, cause it adds too many planes.
