FSDT and REX
« on: January 07, 2013, 01:11:44 pm »
I have a general install question for the tech-minded, folks.

I am in the process of re-installing FSX.

I have done the initial back up with REX Essentials and nothing else.

Should I install my FSDT scenery first, then run my REX textures, or run REX then FSDT scenery?  Do the two play nice with each other, or will I get conflicts?

Regards-

I don't believe it makes any difference. When I first installed on this computer I installed maybe 3 or 4 FSDT airports and then nine months later installed REX. I added several FSDT airports after the REX install. Then I changed some hardware and has to do a complete reinstall of FSX plus addons. I installed all of the FSDT airports except for Geneva but did not install REX. I installed REX when the Essentials was released. Then I just recently installed CYVR. I see no conflicts between the airports and REX or REXE.
